Afternoon Tea at UpStairs on the Square has become a tradition and is available for large parties celebrating all occasions. Bridal and baby showers or whatever you can imagine. For those who are not as familiar with the respite of afternoon tea then here is how you may enjoy:

Although the selection can change slightly with the whim of the chef and the seasons, the above menu is a reflection of a typical tea service. Every guest will receive one of each of our seasonal selections of sandwiches, savories, and dainty treats. Afternoon tea is not meant to be viewed as a meal, more as a mid-afternoon indulgence. For special event afternoon teas, tea service is communal, and teas are served either on our beautiful three-tier tower or on a combination of platters, depending on the size of the party. And of course, our artisan teas from MEM imports are also part of your service. For larger groups we may suggest you narrow your selection to your three favorite teas in order to streamline your service

If you would like a more of a meal, we would be happy to customize your afternoon menu—perhaps adding a Fruit salad or Caesar salad for each guest, or platters of our delicious gougère, our famous "hot dates," or hot blinis with crème fraiche and smoked salmon as starters or finish it all off by sending your guests with a box of our signature pecan turtles as a party favor.
